Enugu Tech Fest 2025 Role: Guest Speaker Theme: Demystifying Blockchain for a Mass Audience
The Enugu Tech Fest is one of the largest technology gatherings in Southeastern Nigeria. I was invited to speak to an audience of over 12000 attendees, including students, professionals, and policymakers. My session was designed to cut through the jargon and present a clear, compelling case for the importance of blockchain technology and its potential to solve real-world problems in our local context.
Key Objectives & Impact:
- Accelerate Adoption: To introduce a large, non-technical audience to the core concepts of Web3.
- Inspire Curiosity: To spark interest among young attendees to explore careers and opportunities in the blockchain space.
- Industry Representation: To represent the Web3 community and demonstrate its commitment to mainstream education and collaboration. The event led to a significant increase in local inquiries about Web3 and several follow-up community engagements.

Event Objectives: With this event, we aim to embark on a thrilling adventure that converges content creation, innovation, blockchain technology, and community building. Our mission is to create an immersive experience that educates, entertains, and inspires attendees to explore the vast possibilities of Sui blockchain content creation while fostering connections among creators, developers, and enthusiasts in Ebonyi.
Key Objectives & Impact:
◦ Showcase the exciting world of Sui blockchain content creation to the Ebonyi community, highlighting its unique features, benefits, and opportunities.
◦ Provide an engaging platform for creators, developers, and enthusiasts to connect, share knowledge, and collaborate on Sui-based content creation projects.

With this event, we aim to bring together art enthusiasts, blockchain enthusiasts, and the Sui community in Enugu to explore the intersection of art and blockchain technology. Our mission is to create a unique experience that combines art, creativity, and innovation, while showcasing the potential of the Sui blockchain and the Walrus protocol.
Key Objectives & Impact:
- Provide a platform for attendees to learn about onchain art and its potential on the Sui blockchain.

Base Batches Workshop Enugu
Build on Base
Role: Co-Cordinator
Base Batches is a global program for builders creating the next wave of onchain apps. First, builders will take part in buildathons. Then, the top builders will move to incubators where they’ll refine their ideas with new levels of support. Finally, they’ll take the stage at Demo Day, pitching for funding to take their projects further.

Builders can apply to join any event listed below to challenge themselves to build the next killer app.
Build across several tracks
Top teams will be invited to join incubation programs that will support builders as they continue to develop their product, business model, go to market plan, and pitch deck. These programs will include hands-on mentorship, workshops hosted by Base Core team members and partners, and networking events with fellow builders.
- Top teams from buildathons will be invited to join “Demo Day” to pitch on a live-streamed public stage to top judges from across Coinbase, Base and our partners for a share of up to $1,000,000 in funding.
- All builders who participate in Base Batches will boost their reputation and credibility in the industry with top teams moving onto incubation and our demo day.
Sui Gaming Hangout Ebonyi
